CSA Like a Pro: Buying Extra

Summer is the time for languid dinners in the back yard with neighbors, porch hangouts with appetizers, and holiday BBQs. Let’s say you’re hosting 4 neighbors next Friday, and you want to make a big tomato salad, grill a bunch of zucchini along with your burgers, and make a huge batch of pesto to share. But you also need veggies for the rest of your weekly meals!

That’s why we always have the option to buy extra from the online store - we’ve got you covered! When you’re customizing your share over the weekend, just up the quantity of those veggies you need for the dinner party (tomatoes, zucchini, and basil in this scenario).

You’ll be able to pay for whatever is over the normal quantity that your share offers (10 items for a full share and 6 items for a small) with whatever credit card you have in your account or with Farm Credit if you have any in your account.

Or perhaps you don’t want to run out of tomato sauce during the winter so you want to line up a big canning project. Add a few tomato boxes to your order and you’ll get them delivered with your weekly share!
