Summer Vegetable Delivery (CSA)
Summer CSA Options
The summer CSA runs May - August, with no share the week of July 4 (14 weeks).
Can I skip a week? We allow one skipped week per year for which we can offer Farm Credit. Members may skip more if they wish, we just can’t provide Farm Credit for more than one week.
Delivery & Pickup Across DC & Maryland
Delivery: We charge a $10 fee for home delivery, which can be bundled into your upfront or installment payments. Your share will be left on the front porch or by the front door on the delivery day selected. If the building requires a code to enter, please provide that to us at the beginning of the season.
Home delivery is available to these zip codes: 20886, 20899, 20877, 20878, 20880, 20850, 20853, 20851, 20852, 20895, 20016, 20816, 20016, 20816, 20007, 20057, 20003, 20390.
Pickup: Pickup is available around the Rockville and DC areas on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the locations below. When you arrive at your pickup location, find your name among the alphabetically organized bags. Pro tip: Check your email after signup for a shortcut to add all pickup dates to your calendar so you never forget a pickup!

Our vegetable delivery is structured as a CSA. This stands for Community Supported Agriculture, which means that community members commit to purchasing shares of a farmer’s harvest each season. Every week you will get a bag filled with freshly harvested vegetables, which you can customize. As the seasons and harvests change, so will the types of vegetables you receive. Our produce tastes extra good because it’s been grown in healthy soil with sustainable farming practices and hasn't been sitting in a fridge for months on end. It's a part of our mission to develop food diversity and teach you and our communities how to eat seasonally, so we will be right there to help you every step of the way! The growing season is up to nature so we can't guarantee specific produce will be available, but typically our summer CSA includes:

Potatoes
Sweet/hot peppers
Tomatillos
Tomatoes
Watermelon
Zucchini/summer squash
You can also customize the vegetables you receive each week.

It’s easy! We’ll send you a reminder each week:
Friday: We’ll email you that it’s time to customize your share, and provide you a link to do so.
Sunday: If you’d like to customize your share, you can do so until midnight on Sunday. If not, we’ll put together a great share for you!
Tuesday - Thursday: Your share will be ready for pickup or delivery. We’ll send a reminder email that includes recipes and tips for that week’s veggies.

All shares have flexible payment options, so you can pay up front or in installments. If you require alternate payment arrangements, please contact Farmer Mike and he'll be happy to work with you!
We understand the commitment of a CSA can be a hurdle for folks financially. If our payment options preclude you from joining our farm, we would love to work with you. If this is a concern for you, please contact us.
