Celebrate Spring with a Farm Tour!

Happy Monday farm friends! We are relishing this sunshine and warm temperatures, the plants are too and will surely start growing with gusto.

We would like to announce our Spring Farm Tour! Come join us on May 6th, from 2-6pm, to get a closer look at what we have growing for the season. Learn about how we plant, harvest, and generally get what's in the ground to your dinner plates. We can't wait to see you and celebrate the upcoming CSA season!

There will also be several additional stations this year:

  • Joe the beekeeper will be sharing how he cares for the honey bees on our property and how they are vital to our success as farmers.

  • Chefs Josh and Shelley from Foodies, Farms, and Friends will be onsite with their BBQ, grilling up some delicious food for purchase. They will also be doing a cooking demo with some of our veggies!

  • Compost Crew representatives will offer a tour of their operation and can answer any questions about the amazing world of compost!

  • We will have a special activity for kids, and all those young at heart, to be announced later!

Final notes:

  • Please NO DOGS! Farmer Mike's two dogs will be here and while they are very friendly with people, they're not always the best of friends with canine visitors.

  • Parking is limited so we encourage carpooling! Get other One Acre CSA members in your neighborhood to join your car and drive down together. Someone will be here to direct you where to park regardless.

See you in May!
