How to Use and Store Your Herbs
Got some herbs in your share? The herbs are technically "microgreens," full of nutrients and a very versatile. These herbs have a unique flavor. You can use them as you would use any other fresh herbs.
Take out of the green biobag. Place container in fridge. We recommend putting a plate underneath the container so any seeds (like fennel or dill seeds) don't get all over the fridge. Do not store in a closed container, the shoots need to "breathe". Use within the week.
Tear off the shoots from the coconut core. The whole shoot is edible. Chop up and add to soups, salads, roasts, anything. The shoots do not need to be washed but you can always rinse under cold water before using.
